Information From The Minority Business Executive Program

On Thursday, June 18, 2015, Solutions Resource’s founder, managing director, and principal consultant, Jet Castro, spoke at the International Business Strategies Panel at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

During the panel, Jet joined other speakers, Isa and Paul, who shared insights with the Minority Business Executive Program about how their companies operate internationally. They also discussed strategies for acquiring new clients in different countries.

Jet’s presentation focused on Solutions Resource’s work in the Philippines. He highlighted the company’s years of success in its markets and explained why it has been effective with those audiences. He also described the challenges and responsibilities of managing staff members based overseas (“Verchot. Monday, June 8, 2015.”).

Outsourcing Benefits and Expertise

Solutions Resource is part of a parent company in the Philippines called Solutions Resource IT. Jet explained why clients benefit from outsourcing their website, search engine optimization, and software development needs to the firm’s staff in the Philippines (“Verchot. Monday, June 8, 2015.”).

He emphasized the high level of expertise and experience that Solutions Resource’s team possesses in technology skills such as search engine optimization. These capabilities provide significant advantages to clients and potential customers.

Business owners in the Minority Business Executive Program, many of whom face challenges like developing mobile-friendly websites, could learn how Solutions Resource addresses these needs. Jet’s presentation helped them evaluate whether they might want to work with the company now or in the future.

Importance of the Panel

The International Business Strategies Panel was an important opportunity for Solutions Resource to showcase its services. The firm explained how it meets the technological needs of its markets, the benefits of outsourcing projects such as software development, and the success it has achieved in serving clients.

This information allowed attendees to decide whether they wanted to do business with Solutions Resource or refer the company to other organizations. Ideally, participants would recognize that Solutions Resource is capable of addressing complex technology challenges—such as building e-commerce websites—that other firms may struggle to deliver.

Future Opportunities

Attendees could also refer additional organizations to Solutions Resource, giving those entities the chance to explore outsourcing needs like search engine optimization. This would expand Solutions Resource’s reach and strengthen its role in helping businesses with diverse technology projects.
