Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects following PMBOK principles. Responsibilities include project planning, documentation, performance tracking, stakeholder collaboration, and recommending technology strategies. The role emphasizes process improvement, effective communication, and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibility:
- Utilize industry-standard project management tools and methodologies.
- Track project performance to analyze the achievement of short- and long-term goals.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Perform quality control to ensure projects meet expected standards.
- Communicate project progress, issues, risks, and accomplishments to stakeholders.
- Recommend and guide the integration of new technology based on project scope.
- Drive process improvements and demonstrate best practices in project management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing or assisting with IT projects or equivalent work.
- Formal education in Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Ability to use industry-standard project management software and tools.
- Experience tracking project performance and achieving both short- and long-term goals.
- Ability to create and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Experience performing quality control during project development.
Desirable:
- Earned certifications in relevant project management technologies, such as CAPM, PMP, or DASM.
- Familiarity with tools and software such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SDLC and Visio
