Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and development of analytic cubes, reporting solutions, data models, and data pipelines. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cloud-based analytics services and data integration to build scalable, high-performance solutions. This role involves troubleshooting complex data workflows, optimizing processes for performance and reliability, and ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibility:

Design and develop analytic cubes, reports, and scalable data models.
Build and maintain tabular and multidimensional models.
Develop and implement solutions using MS Azure cloud analytics services.
Troubleshoot and optimize Data Warehouses and reporting systems.
Write and optimize complex queries for large datasets.
Manage and streamline ETL processes for efficient data integration.
Schedule, monitor, and enhance data processing workflows.
Ensure data security through role-based access control and encryption.
Develop interactive visual reports and dashboards with advanced features.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Implement strategies for high availability and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in analytics design, data modeling, and pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent additional experience).
Proficiency in data modeling for analytics and cloud-based services.
Strong SQL skills and expertise in query optimization.
Experience in ETL, data integration, and workflow enhancement.
Knowledge of role-based access control, encryption, and data compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

Desirable:

Experience in Data Warehouse modeling and agile development.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Google).
Proficiency in tools and services such as SQL Server, PowerBI, MS Azure Data Factory, SSRS, Python, Tableau, Jira, and ERWIN.
