Job Title: Test and Cutover Lead

Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Test and Cutover Lead to oversee testing and cutover activities for a large-scale enterprise software implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, SaaS solutions, and cutover planning, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure a smooth transition to a new system.

Key Responsibility:

• Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive test plan, including defining test objectives, scope, and deliverables. Prioritize testing efforts based on risk and business impact.
• Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases for system functionality, business processes, and integrations. Ensure test cases align with project requirements.
• Test Execution and Defect Management: Oversee test execution, manage defect resolution, and coordinate with development teams to ensure timely fixes. Conduct regular defect review meetings.
• Test Data and Environment Management: Manage test data and environments to ensure they are representative of production and properly configured for testing.
• Test Automation: Evaluate and implement test automation tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Cutover Planning and Execution: Lead cutover planning, develop detailed checklists, and manage risks and issues to ensure a successful system transition.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 4+ years in software testing (manual and automated).
  • 2+ years as a lead for large-scale SaaS implementations.
  • Experience with Workday implementations is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience with SaaS integration testing (e.g., API, data migration).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Project Management:
  • Proven experience in cutover planning and execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret complex data and identify risks.

• Comprehensive test strategy and plan.
• Detailed test cases and defect management logs.
• Cutover checklist and progress updates.
• Regular project status reports.
